eleva{\c{c}}{\~a}o. Os {\'{\i}}ndices rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o
declividade-extens{\~a}o (RDE), fator assim{\'e}trico (Af),
integral hipsom{\'e}trica (Hi) e sinuosidade de frente de
montanha (Smf) possibilitaram distinguir diferentes intensidades
de deforma{\c{c}}{\~a}o. Destaca-se a por{\c{c}}{\~a}o NE da
{\'a}rea, onde {\'e} sugerido tectonismo mais intenso no
Ne{\'o}geno e Quatern{\'a}rio. ABSTRACT: This study applies
morphometric indices in the evaluation of tectonic intensity in
the onshore portion of the Para{\'{\i}}ba Sedimentary Basin
using the following data: drainage network and digital elevation
model. The indices slope-length ratio (SL), asymmetric factor
(Af), hypsometric integral (Hi) and mountain-front sinuosity (Smf)
enabled us to distinguish different intensities of deformation. We
highlight the NE portion of the area, where more intense tectonism
is suggested in Neogene-Quaternary.",
